1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the rental services provided by MuCars, a business operated by Murcia Sales & Rentals. By booking and renting a vehicle from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

2. Eligibility

To rent a vehicle, you must:

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid driving license for a minimum of 12 months.
• Provide a valid passport or ID card and a credit card in the renter’s name for the security deposit.

3. Booking and Payment

• All bookings must be made through our website, www.mucars.es.
• A confirmation email will be sent once your booking is reviewed and accepted by our team.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your rental vehicle.
• Prices are inclusive of basic insurance but do not cover additional options such as GPS, child seats, or extra drivers unless added during the booking process.

4. Cancellations and Modifications

• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental start date will incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the rental amount.
• Modifications: You may modify your booking (subject to vehicle availability) up to 24 hours before the rental period begins. Any differences in pricing will be adjusted accordingly.

5. Pick-Up and Drop-Off

• All vehicles can be picked up and dropped off at the supermarket car park on Calle Palometa, La Torre Golf Resort, unless otherwise arranged.
• The rental period begins at the time of pick-up and ends at the agreed drop-off time.
• Late returns may result in additional charges as per our pricing policy.

6. Insurance and Liability

• Basic Insurance: All rentals include basic insurance, covering damage caused by accidents, fire, and theft. A deductible (excess) will apply in case of damages.
• Additional Coverage: Optional additional insurance can be purchased to reduce the deductible.
• The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle not covered by the insurance, including damage to tires, mirrors, or the interior.
• The renter agrees to comply with local traffic laws and will be responsible for any fines, penalties, or damages incurred during the rental period.

7. Vehicle Condition and Usage

• The renter agrees to return the vehicle in the same condition as when it was rented, with the same fuel level.
• Smoking in the vehicle is strictly prohibited. A cleaning fee will apply for any signs of smoking or significant mess.
• The vehicle may not be used for illegal activities, off-road driving, or in a manner that may cause harm or damage.

8. Minibus Hire

• Our minibus hire service includes a professional driver.
• The minibus is available for airport transfers, day trips, and special events. Please provide detailed booking information to ensure availability.
• The driver will handle all driving responsibilities; under no circumstances may a passenger operate the minibus.

9. Privacy Policy

Your personal data is handled in compliance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our services, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Force Majeure

MuCars will not be held responsible for any delays, cancellations, or failure to fulfill our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or governmental actions.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these terms or the rental service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Murcia.
